Mrs. Teresa Barnes

As a teacher, I expect all my students to achieve above their level of comfort.  Growing pains can be painful, but in the end all is better because of them.  My students must first learn they are worth the effort  and then learn how to put their education above all the distractions in their lives.  As a teacher and a parent, I know the importance of the relationships between parents and teachers in keeping students on track and focused. I have been teaching at North Augusta High since 2007 and am very proud of our students and thier accomplishments.  They continue to surprise me with their outstanding achievements inside and outside the classroom.

I am looking forward to a great year.  Please know I am here for you and your child and will do my best to help those who do their part in getting an education.  Just remember, The student must put as much or more effort into being successful than I do. This is sometimes where "tough love" comes into play and when rules are made they are not to be broken, no matter how much he/she begs.

If I say I will do it, I do it, If I say I will not do it, I do not do it.  Students must know Yes is yes and No is no and maybe does not mean yes.
