  • CLASSROOM RULES and EXPECTATIONS: 

    1. Listen to the teacher, and ignore others who try to distract you!
    2. Follow directions.
    3. Do not leave your seat for any reason without permission.
    4. Keep a positive attitude. Don’t judge a person, book, or assignment too soon.
    5. Bellringers are to be completed at the beginning of class. The bellringer for the day will always be on the board.
    6. No food or drink is to be consumed in my classroom. Water is the only drink permitted.
    7. Be proactive. Plan ahead. Do not assume you will get an extension if you ask for one.
    8. Be prepared. You must have a signed parent note to print, and if you need to print, do it before my class starts!
    9. Ask for help. I can’t help you if you are silent when confused!
    10. Be respectful. Please do not have side conversations.
    11. Ms. Clark will dismiss you from class. Do not get up to leave when the bell rings. Always wait to be dismissed

  • Everything you will need access to can be found on this site or on . Our textbook is accessed through There will be an app icon that allows students to access Springboard textbooks digitally. We will also have textbooks in the classroom.

  • KMS DISCIPLINARY PROCESS:

    1. First minor behavioral infraction-Verbal Warning
    2. If the behavior continues, parents/guardians will be contacted through a call home and/or email.
    3. If the warning and parent/guardian contact do not help to stop the misbehavior, a classroom action (detention/work detail) or referral (ISS/OSS) may be necessary.
    4. Any major infractions (Levels 2,3 -ACPSD code of conduct pg. 14 & 15) will result in a referral.
