I have been teaching for nearly 30 years at the high school and middle school levels, primarily in Georgia.  My undergraduate degree in education was earned at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Since then, I have earned a master's degree and education specialist's degree. In addition to my teaching duties, I have coached various sports. Most recently, I served as the head football coach at Greenbrier High School in Georgia.

I am married to my wife, Robyn and we have three children who attend Kennesaw State University, Augusta University, and Greenbrier High School. We have two dogs that complete our family.
