I am beginning my 25th year in education and my 11th at Belvedere Elementary School.  My husband and I have a daughter who is in the 8th grade this year.  I love teaching for many reasons, but especially for the opportunity to find a way to teach each student in ways that are meaningful for him/her.  I am fortunate to work with wonderful teaching assistants as well as a terrific faculty at BES.  I am usually available to take a phone call between 7-7:15am and between 2:30 and 3:30pm.  Email is a good option as I usually check it at least twice during the school day as well as before or after school.

    I have emailed parents a link to video conferencing for lessons.  Please email me if you need the invitation again at hherrmann@acpsd.net

     1.The first time you click the link , you may be prompted to download Zoom. After the first time, it should be saved on your device (laptop, phone, iPad, etc.

    2. Click "download zoom" (if it is your first time) or "open zoom".

    3. If I am online, you will be sent directly to a screen asking you to pick between "Join with Video" (I can see and hear you) or "Join without Video" (I can hear you but not see you). If I am not online, you will get a message that says "please wait for the host to start this meeting". If you get this message during my office hours, please email me and let me know.

    4. When you are ready to end the conference call/video, click the red "leave meeting" in the bottom, right corner of your screen
