I am very excited to be teaching 6th & 8th grade science! I grew up in the metro Atlanta area of Georgia. I have been a South Carolina resident for 13 years. I am currently in my 13th year of teaching and in my 7th year at North Augusta Middle School.  I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Grades Education as well as a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Clemson University. Go Tigers! I look forward to having a great school year! 

If you would like to have a conference I am available before school, after school, and during my planning period from 9:30am-10:20am.  Please take a moment to join the REMIND app for your student's class. The REMIND app is used to let students know important information such as due dates, and remind students of homework deadlines. Both you and your student can join and this will ensure that you are aware of assignments as they arise. In order to join, simply find the REMIND app website for your student's class. Please navigate to the RESOURCES tab in the left column. Please be sure you join the correct class for your student's grade levels.

Late Work Policy:

Late work will be accepted no later than 2 weeks (14 calendar days) beyond the assignment due date and will be recorded as a 0 at that point. Late work turned in within the first week(within 7 calendar days) will be deducted up to 20 points. Late work turned in within the second week(14 calendar days) after the due date will be deducted up to 40 points. These deductions will be made from the final assignment grade. *Students with excused absences will be provided the number of days they were absent to make-up work.
