Hello, I'm so excited for this school year!  I have been teaching second grade for the past three years.  This year marks my 37th year of teaching and all of them have been at Gloverville Elementary.  I always wanted to be a teacher!  I love helping students learn!  
 
I am married and have a daughter who is in college.  I have two fur babies at home as well.  I am a South Carolina Gamecock fan and love watching and cheering them on in any sport!

  • Homework is assigned Monday through Thursday.  It usually consists of writing spelling words 3 times each, a reading passage with comprehension questions and a math worksheet.   Homework folders are sent home each day except Friday.  Homework is expected the following day.  If your child is absent, please arrange to pick up their work from the office, or have them complete the make-up work as quickly as possible so that they don't get behind in the class.  Homework should take no longer than 30 minutes to complete.  It is important that your child do their homework on their own.  You may help them read directions or with a difficult word.  Please contact me if homework is taking longer than usual.
