Teaching is my number one passion and was my dream since I was in first grade myself and I have loved every minute of it. I am excited to embark on this journey with each one of you this school year! It is going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I can’t wait to se e what this year has in store for us. As we begin this journey together, I thought you might like to  know a little bit about me.

I grew up in the small town of Greenwood, South Carolina. I graduated from the University of South Carolina. During  my free time I love to read, craft, spend time with my family, watch sports (Go Gamecocks!), and all things Disney. I have an awesome husband, Kirk, who loves to help with  the fun things in the classroom when he can. We have a 2.5 year old, Eli, and a 7 week old, Merritt.

This will be my sixth year teaching and fifth year at Chukker Creek. I look forward to getting to  know each child and guardian through this year. I also look forward to creating strong  partnerships between home and the classroom with each of you!
