Byrd Elementary and Leavelle McCampbell Midde Schools teamed together for "A Day of Service," September 21, in honor of Trent Shealey. Trent is a former Byrd student and a current LMMS student. We collected items for The Children's Hospital of Georgia-Augusta University Health. Items donated consisted of toys, coloring books, crayons, DVDs, stuffed animals, and hygiene items. A special thanks to Lil' G's Wagons of Hope for the donations of toys and wagon. Thanks to all for helping make it possible for us to serve others.
