Hello, I am Mrs. Smith and I am so excited to be working with 1st grade again this year! I look forward to helping each student learn and become an outstanding student. I have my Masters Degree in Early Childhood from Grand Canyon University and my BA in Sociology from the University of South Carolina Aiken. This is my third-year teaching, but I’ve worked with kids for over 10 years. I am married to my wonderful husband of 5 years. We have a blended family with a total of 5 kids. My hobbies are listening to music (it's a big part of my "me time"), reading, and spending time with my family. I love to travel and going to the beach. The beach is really my happy place.  I enjoy planting seeds of knowledge in young minds and watching those seeds grow throughout the year. Although we are faced with many challenges, I still believe that this is going to be a great year and look forward to the joys ahead. It's going to be a fantastic year! Think positive!
