Students at Graniteville Elementary School joined us in the cafeteria for a fun and delicious Discovery Kitchen event! Students sampled Cinnamon Glazed Carrots prepared by Chef Taylor Hasty, and enjoyed discovering the wonders of fresh, locally grown foods. As a bonus, each student received carrot seeds for planting, to better their understanding of where much of our food originates. Recipe cards were made available as well, to empower students to continue their journey into nutrition and recreate Cinnamon Glazed Carrots at home. Below are a few photos from the event.
