    Clearwater Elementary School is dedicated to preparing and motivating our students to thrive in an ever changing, competitive world by instilling in them respect for core values, perseverance, compassion, a global perspective, and a knowledge of multiple languages. Our highly qualified educators work to ensure each student reaches a high level of academic growth and achievement, following rigorous standards in language arts and math preparing students for college and career readiness. In a safe and secure environment, we provide our learners a diversified experience where their potential can flourish.

  • SC READY ASSESSMENT-Starting in mid-May, all students in grades three through eight will participate in South Carolina's state assessments. 

    SC READY assessments in English language arts and math will be administered to all students in grades three through eight. SC READY assessments in Science will be administered to fourth and sixth graders only. SC Ready assessments are designed to measure student progress on the South Carolina College and Career Readiness Standards in these content areas.

  • ARTISTICALLY GT AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS - Artistically Gifted & Talented students are invited to submit an application to join the after school arts club of their interest. Clubs are located at schools throughout the county, and Clearwater Elementary School is excited to host the 2D Art Club on Tuesdays from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. Students are able to apply to attend clubs at other schools, however, transportation is not provided. Clubs will meet once each week after school. First semester clubs kick off in early September, so don't miss your chance to engage in this exciting opportunity.   • PREPARE FOR FAMILY EMERGENCIES WITH SMART911 - We are fortunate in Aiken County to have access to a free service called SMART911. The service allows families to register their homes and occupants for the purpose of providing law enforcement and first responders with immediate access to life-saving information in the event of a call for help to 911. During an actual emergency, first responders will have this vital information relayed to them before they arrive. Signing up is fast, easy, and free!   • MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES OFFERED - Rural Health Services has partnered with Clearwater Elementary School to provide students with dental and medical services on the Clyburn Community Health Express Mobile Unit. Registration forms can be obtained on the Nursing Services section of Ï㽶ӰÊÓ's website. For more information please contact the school nurse or call (803) 219-1926.
