Mrs. Hollie Gillespie
Welcome to K-2 Reading Intervention! My name is Hollie Gillespie, this is my 19th year in public education. I love being part of the Clearwater Elementary School family. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from USC-Aiken in 2004 and my Masters in Education with a Focus on Divergent Learning in 2006 and I hold a Reading Recovery Certificate from Clemson University and I am Read to Succeed Literacy Endorsed. I am a lifelong resident of South Carolina. My husband Todd and I have three children and a miniature dachshund. My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, anything outdoors, flying, boating, camping and especially spending time at the beach!
My goal is to facilitate learning in an exciting and fun way. As an educator, it is my job to see that your child becomes a lifelong learner. To achieve this, it is essential that we work together to ensure that your child is working to his or her potential in a successful and meaningful way. I'm looking forward to a wonderful year.
