Hello Clearwater Familiy! My name is Eric Ellison and I am your Physical Education Teacher for this 2023-2024 school year. This is my second year teaching PE at Clearwater Elementary School.

I was born and raised in Graniteville, until my family and I moved to Beaufort, SC in 2015. In 2022, I moved back to Graniteville in order to teach here at CES!!

I am a product of a family of educators. My Grandmother taught in Aiken County for 25 years. My Mother has been an accounting instructor for the last 23 years. She has taught at Aiken Technical College, the Technical College of the Lowcountry, and now teaches at the University of South Carolina-Columbia. One of my sisters has been a SPED teacher in both Coumbia County, GA and the Savannah area for about the last 10 years. My other sister has a Masters Degree in early childhood services and is currently working at Aiken Tech.

As for myself, this will be my second year teaching. In May of 2022, I graduated from the University of South Carolina-Columbia with a Bachelors degree (Cum Laude) in Physical Education. In 2019, I received an Associates Degree from the Technical College of the Lowcountry.

On the personal side, I am newly married as of 12/30/23! My wife and I love animals. We have one Leopard Geckos and two young cats. In the past, we have had a Bunny and a Rat.

In my free time, I love to watch sports, especially college sports. I grew up a diehard fan of both Georgia Tech and South Carolina. I also grew up loving the Braves, Falcons, and Lakers. I still to this day love these teams, win or lose. I enjoy going to games as well as watching them on TV. I have yet to be able to go to a Falcons or Lakers game and hope to get to one soon!

I also help coach Girls Basketball at Midland Valley High School. Go Mustangs!
