Students from Warrenville Elementary and Gloverville Elementary Schools joined us in the cafeteria this month for two fun, delicious, and educational Discovery Kitchen events! Students sampled mashed sweet potatoes and enjoyed exploring the art of cooking with Chef Taylor. For many students, this was their first time trying sweet potatoes, and their enthusiasm was remarkable- they absolutely loved them! Students were thrilled to receive recipe cards, giving them the option to recreate the dish at home. Below are photos from the events.
