ASMAE KHOUKH

Originally from Morocco, Asmae Khoukh has found her home in Aiken County, joining the ACPSD Child Nutrition Program two years ago. Stemming from her extensive experience in food service, her exceptional culinary skills are a key component of the student dining experience at Leavelle McCampbell Middle. Asmae firmly believes in loving what one does, and her passion for both the kitchen and the students of Aiken County is evident every time she steps into the culinary arena.

Asmae finds daily motivation in her team, of whom make the kitchen’s atmosphere positive and energetic. She is also motivated by the students of Leavelle McCampbell Middle, as playing a role in their happiness and nutritional well-being is what the job is all about! The culinary star is an invaluable asset to this kitchen, as she brings a positive attitude and an all-around kind personality to work with her every day.

Melissa King, Child Nutrition Program Manager at Leavelle McCampbell Middle, is especially appreciative of Asmae, stating “She tackles every task with enthusiasm and her pride in her work shines every time…She has an unmatched attention to detail and sincerely cares about her job, pleasing the children who are going to consume the food she prepares.”

Asmae’s passion for the culinary arts runs deep, and she delights in preparing a variety of cuisines. When she is not in the kitchen, she enjoys leisurely walks and spending quality time with her beloved cats.
