WELCOME BACK TO THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR!

This is my 11th year teaching! A whole decade as a teacher, and STILL LOVING IT!!!! I will be teaching ALL Math7 and I am super excited about it. This is my 5th year as a North Augusta Yellow Jacket and I am looking forward to a new year. 

I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio where I started my teaching career. After teaching two years in Cleveland, my husband and I moved to Irmo, South Carolina where I taught at Newberry Middle School for 3 years. We then moved to North Augusta where I taught my first year at Aiken Middle, before making my way here to NAMS. 

I have a great passion for math and I think its' importance is an integral part of what we do every day. It is my goal to get my students engaged and dare I say excited about math as they spend the year in my class. I work hard to make sure class is instructional while still making it engaging for students. Each year it is my goal to help students excel in math, and this year is no different I want to keep make strives forward, and this year I hope to keep motivating to want to do better in all parts of their education and life. 

Outside of school I have two beautiful boys, Logan (4 years old) and Ryker (15 months old). I am married to my high school sweetheart, Will and we have two crazy, spoiled pups Gambit and Zoey. We love to travel, spend time outside, be in the pool or any type of water, and just go to the park.
