     Hello, students and parents! My name is Becky Miller. Although I have been a teacher since 1998, I came to Aiken County in 2007. I am so excited to be a Highland Springs Riverhawk!  Reading books is one of my favorite hobbies. I am married to an English professor, have 3 children, 1 cat, and 2 dogs. I love animals and want to save them all. I went to Appalachian State University to get my Bachelor of Science degree and received my Master's Degree in Education from Southern-Wesleyan University. I also have certification to teach Gifted and Talented students, and have earned the Read to Succeed endorsement.  I was Jefferson Elementary's Teacher of the Year for 2020-2021. As a Riverhawk, I teach 6th grade Science. I'm also the 6th grade team leader and the Science chairperson.
