I am a graduate of RS-M High.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Winthrop University.  I earned my Master of Education from Lesley University.  I am the  Reading Tutor for our school.  I have taught for 31 years, in Edgefield and Aiken counties.  My husband, Mickey and I have two children, Bethany and Braxton and we live in Ridge Spring.   I was voted Teacher of the Year in 1997 and Distinguished Reading Teacher for Aiken County in 2009. In June of 2018, I retired from Akien County but am privileged to come back and work with students.  I am a member of the Alpha Eta State-Alpha Tau Chapter. I feel I am blessed to work at the school I attended, and my children did as well.
