     I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and express
my excitement about this school year! This will be my tenth year
teaching in Aiken County and my third year at Aiken Scholars
Academy. In addition to teaching, I will sponsor our Science Team,
Garden Club, and CyberPatriots. 

      I am from Augusta, Georgia and I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in
Biological Engineering from the University of Georgia and a Masters
in the Art of Teaching in Secondary Biology from Augusta State
University. I am certified in General Science and can teach or tutor
any subject in Science. I am always willing to learn with the students
and help them anyway I can. I will be teaching Honors Biology I,
Honors Chemistry I, and AP Research this school year.

       I love the arts and creating in my spare time along with being
an avid animal lover. My husband and I can often be found dressing
up as pirates with friends and volunteering in our Augusta
Community. My current volunteer projects are helping Le Chat Noir 
theater and the Old Town Community Garden.

I hope to support my students academically and creatively this year
as they find their interests in and out of the school day.
