I am so excited about beginning my twenty-fourth year in Aiken County!  Although it is my first year teaching fifth grade here at Graniteville Elementary, I taught science and social studies at Leavelle McCampbell Middle School for most of my career.  I am a graduate of Augusta State University with a B.S. in Biology.  My love of students drew me back to Augusta State to pursue teaching.  Later, I obtained my gifted and talented certification through the University of South Carolina at Aiken.  When not in the classroom, I take an active role in the community by working as a volunteer in several organizations and also serving in my local church.  I also like to spend time with my friends and family.  Coco Chanel, my toy poodle, also occupies much of my time, attention, and heart!
