Welcome to a new year!  Students in Read 180 and System 44 showed great growth in their reading last year, and I am looking forward to an incredible year, as the fourth and fifth graders build on that success!  

This year is my 28th "Back to School". I began my teaching career in Tampa, Florida back in 1995.  My husband and I moved to Aiken in 2004. For 15 years, I worked at Midland Valley Preparatory School, which became Horse Creek Academy.  I taught second grade, fifth through eighth grade English Language Arts, and served as the Reading Coach.  In 2019, I began teaching third grade here at Graniteville, and last year was my first year in Reading Intervention.   

My husband and I have two children, one of whom is a senior this year.  I love spending time with my family, reading, working on a variety of crafts, cooking with my husband, and cheering on the University of Kentucky Wildcats in football and basketball!
