On February 28, 2019, ASA Scholars participated in a Celebration of African-American History as a part of our ongoing Lunch and Learn Series. Students were engaged in a Q&A panel discussion with guests panelist and submerged in African-American cultural awareness and history. Guest panelist included: Dr. Melencia Johnson (Associate Professor of Sociology, USCA), Rev. Patrick Outler (Community Activist), Ms. Felecia Mathews (USCA Senior Student), and Mr. AJ Smalls (USCA Senior Student).
