I love being part of the Jacket Nation, where both of my children attended school. When I am not researching strategies to help students succeed, I am spending time with my family. I have been married to Barry for 27 years. Barry is an Electrical Engineer and an avid DIY personality. Our 100-year-old home in North Augusta is an endless work in progress. I enjoy designing, using power tools and the scent of stain and wood. Our two children, Erin and Grant, grew up in a construction zone. Erin graduated from UofSC-Columbia and LSU,she is working in Public Health and attending law school in Washington DC. Grant is studying Computer Science at UofSC-Aiken. I was hoping they would attend Clemson University, my Alma Mater, but we are a house divided. I have been singing at our church for 15 years. Along with a dog named Ryley, I am blessed with a variety of friends that keep my life full.
