    Mission Statement:

    The Mission of North Augusta Middle School’s Counseling department is to deliver comprehensive school counseling services to our students. Our programs seek to empower students in growing academically, socially, and personally. In collaboration with teachers, administrators, parents, and other members of our school community, school counselors facilitate an environment where students feel safe and supported to develop their leadership identity and unique potential.

    Vision Statement:

    The Vision of North Augusta Middle School’s Counseling department is for every student to develop the academic, social, and career skills needed to be responsible, compassionate, and inclusive members of the global community and beyond.

    Beliefs:

    School counselors at North Augusta Middle School believe that all pupils in the school community should be: 

    · Provided with opportunities and support to be successful.

    · Treated with dignity and respect.

    · Ensured a safe and cooperative school environment.

    · Celebrated for their unique qualities and positive contributions to the school climate.

    · Respected for their ethnic, cultural, racial, gender differences, and individual needs.

    · Supported in their emotional/social, academic, and career development through the implementation of a comprehensive developmental school counseling program that adheres to the American School Counselor Association’s Ethical Standards for School Counselors.
