Hello! My name is Summer Barge, and I will be serving as a School Counselor at North Augusta Middle for the 2023-2024 school year. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2018 with a Bachelor's in Public Health, as well as from Augusta University in 2023 with a Master's in Counselor Education. I am a first-year counselor excited about creating meaningful experiences for our students and families through counseling and social emotional learning practices.

 

Outside of middle school, I enjoy traveling with my husband Matt and spending time with our 1-year-old son, Lucian James. I absolutely adore being a mom and learning all about my little boy. When I do have time to myself, I love to read, swim, and grab iced coffee with my twin sister!

 

I look forward to the upcoming school year and meeting some awesome middle-schoolers! ?
