Hi. I'm Alyson Moots, the lead counselor at Aiken Scholars Academy.  I am originally from Chapin, SC but now live in Gilbert with my husband and two dogs.  We enjoy spending time on Lake Murray and at the beach.  I have two sons that are the light of my life, Tyler, who is 24, and Connor, who is 22.   This is my 16th year working as a school counselor and 6th year working for Ï㽶ӰÊÓ.  Before coming to ASA, I worked at Wagener-Salley High School, the South Carolina Public Charter School District and Lexington School District One.  I received my BA in psychology from Columbia College and my M.Ed. in secondary school guidance from The University of South Carolina.
