    These behaviors are handled by the classroom teacher OR the attending adult.

     

    • Teasing/name calling
    • Inappropriate hallway behavior
    • Non-compliance
    • Homework incomplete
    • Talking out of turn
    • Disrespecting other students
    • Inappropriate clothing

     

    • Pushing in halls
    • Inappropriate use of electronic devices
    • Food theft or other small items
    • Assembly behavior
    • Inappropriate use of personal equipment

     

     

    Middles

     

    These behaviors will be handled initially by the teacher, but can be referred to the administration if they become chronic

     

    • Late                                                         Disrespecting teacher’s personal space/desk
    • Cheating                                                  Unprepared for class
    • Lying                                                       Chronic minor behavior
    • Attendance 
    • Sexual/racial teasing/name calling

     

    Majors

     

    These behaviors are immediately referred to the administration

     

    • Fighting                                                                                       Weapons
    • Physical aggression                                                                    Theft (serious)
    • Matches/lighter                                                                           Sexual behavior
    • Defiance                                                                                      Inappropriate Internet sites
    • Off-school/campus without permission                                        Vandalism        
    • Skipping school                                                                          Sexual harassment
    • Smoking on school property                                                       Chronic middle behavior
    • Drugs and/or alcohol use
    • Serious threat/intimidation of others

     

    Consequences for behaviors

    1. Verbal warning
    2. Conference with the student
    3. Parent contact via phone call, text, email or class dojo
    4. Referral to administration (write-up)
