- Inappropriate hallway behavior
- Non-compliance
- Homework incomplete
- Talking out of turn
- Disrespecting other students
- Inappropriate clothing
- Pushing in halls
- Inappropriate use of electronic devices
- Food theft or other small items
- Assembly behavior
- Inappropriate use of personal equipment
Middles
These behaviors will be handled initially by the teacher, but can be referred to the administration if they become chronic
- Late • Disrespecting teacher’s personal space/desk
- Cheating • Unprepared for class
- Lying • Chronic minor behavior
- Attendance
- Sexual/racial teasing/name calling
Majors
These behaviors are immediately referred to the administration
- Fighting • Weapons
- Physical aggression • Theft (serious)
- Matches/lighter • Sexual behavior
- Defiance • Inappropriate Internet sites
- Off-school/campus without permission Vandalism
- Skipping school • Sexual harassment
- Smoking on school property • Chronic middle behavior
- Drugs and/or alcohol use
- Serious threat/intimidation of others
Consequences for behaviors
- Verbal warning
- Conference with the student
- Parent contact via phone call, text, email or class dojo
- Referral to administration (write-up)
