Jason Jackson grew up in Aiken County, and attended Midland Valley High School.  He is an honor graduate from Winthrop University, both in instrumental performance as well as a masters in music education.  After graduation, he taught middle and high school band in Great Falls, SC.  That summer, Mr. Jackson was cast in the Broadway show “Blast”, as well as others shows.  He performed in five international tours, plus a US tour before settling in Columbus, OH in 2006.  He has toured in Japan several times, been to almost every country in Europe, and almost every US state.  In Ohio, he was head band director at Westerville Central HS.  He remained there for 13 years. He recently moved back to the Aiken area to be closer to family, and in Aiken Co, has worked as band director at Jackson MS, and Paul Knox in the media center.  He has also assisted the marching band at North Augusta High. 

 Mr Jackson continues to perform regularly, and also teaches brass lessons for Music and Arts in Augusta.  Mr Jackson loves to travel, an avid dog lover, plays video games, loves all the super hero stuff and reading comics, does CrossFit regularly, hikes and bikes, and can’t wait to be on a rollercoaster again!
