Welcome to 7th grade! I am so excited about beginning my teaching career with your students here at Schofield Middle School. I have just recently graduated from University of South Carolina-Aiken with honors in May of 2022. I then finished my first-year teaching as a 7th grade math teacher here at Schofield Middle during the 2022-2023 school year. It has been such an honor to have received the 2023-2024 First Year Teacher of the Year and I can’t wait for many more amazing years with my students!

Outside of teaching, I enjoy many different types of activities. I thoroughly enjoy cooking and making good food from scratch as well as baking.I am very well known here at Schofield Middle for my famous homemade choclate chip cookies. I love spending time with my family and friends. And I love traveling to all different places and learning about different cultures.

I will have office hours each weekday and am eager to help your students succeed and achieve in my class. My office hours are Monday-Friday, 1:15pm – 2:10pm. Feel free to email, text, or send a note at anytime.

This summer I plan to travel around South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. I have a big bucket list of small things that I always enjoy doing during the summer, such as a trip to the drive in movies, beach day trip, and finding a new favorite local resturant. This summer I will also be spending a lot of time working on my new house, as I have many small house projects that came with buying the place. So excited for all the adventures to come throughout this summer.
