Hello parents and students, 

My name is Mrs. Terri Whetstone and I am your South Carolina history teacher.  This school term is my 10th year here at Schofield Middle.  Professionally,  I am a graduate of South Carolina State University with an undergraduate degree in Professional English.  Additionally, I have earned a masters of education in Divergent Learning from Columbia College and a masters of education in Early Childhood Development from the University of South Carolina-Columbia.  I am certified in Middle Education in both the state of South Carolina and Georgia.  

This year our studies will include an overview of our great state from the conception of the state to its present day governmental structure.  Our studies are fun and very informative.  

When planning your vacation for the summer break, consider traveling to Columbia, the state's capital, or to Charleston, where our great Carolina was started.  It is all  OUR history!!!
