    Mr. Sidney Johnson has been named Schofield Middle School's Principal for the 2022-23 school year.

    He began his educational career as a mathematics teacher in 2001 in Richland One before becoming an assistant principal in Richland Two. He served as an assistant principal in Richland Two for 12 years at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

    Mr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Carolina. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Leadership at the University of South Carolina.

    In his free time, Mr. Johnson enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
