Dr. Jennifer (Jenn) Moore

Welcome to Ms. Moore's Kindergarten Class.

I wanted to share some information about who I am.

Educational Background:  I earned my Bachelors in Science in Early Childhood Education P-3rd grade, from Ohio University. Completed a Masters degree in Education Curriculum Instruction: Mild to Moderate Special Education and an Endorsement to Teach 4-5th grade, from Ashland University. I have concluded my dissertation for my PhD in Psychology, from Grand Canyon University, earning my Doctoral Degree.

I have had the privilege of teaching for a cumulation of 22 years, starting my career in Pre-k in Ohio. I was honored to teach kindergarten, second and third grade, looping with my first kindergarten class their second grade year, in Ohio. I moved to South Carolina in 2012 to take a teaching position in Orangeburg, working with students in grades Kindergarten - 5th grade, who were diagnosed with Autism. In 2015, I moved to Georgia, where I continued to work with students diagnosed with a variety of disabilities, in a resource position. I worked with students from Kindergarten- 5th grade and focused on Reading, Math, and Social Emotional skills. I am happy to be back in Kindergarten and working at North Augusta.

With my many moves, I have had two wonderful sons (Garrett and Ben) who support their mother's endeavors in educating young people for the future. We also have two dogs (Xander and Chewy), a bearded dragon (Turbo), and a Russian Tortoise (Yurtle), and 25 fish.
