Safety Patrol

North Augusta Elementary Safety Patrol is a service and leadership activity which is voluntary and open to all interested fifth grade students. Duties will require less than 30 minutes each day, either in the morning or afternoon. Members are selected for their courtesy, dependability, interest in their job, respect and attitude towards others, and overall behavior.

The primary aims of the School Safety Patrol are the following:
· To assist students in getting in and out of their cars during arrival and dismissal
· To direct students to the correct pole in the carline and prevent students from running
· To foster qualities of leadership and good citizenship as Patrol members
Morning Safety Patrol: arrive by 7:00 each morning
Afternoon Safety Patrol: pick up by 2:45 each afternoon (students who ride a bus in the afternoon cannot serve on the afternoon safety patrol)
