North Augusta Elementary has a morning radio show that is played daily for students and staff. At the end of every year 4th grade students are able to apply and audition to be next year's DJs. The morning show is meant to promote a positive school culture and start everyone's day off on a good note.

We use "Make You Smile Mondays" to tell jokes, "Tell Us Something Good Tuesdays" to celebrate the great things happening around our school, "I Wonder Wednesdays" to share interesting facts, "Thoughtful Thursdays" to encourage students to think about their character as well as ways they can make an impact, and "Fabulous Fridays" to announce the Leader Loot winners for the week and play a school appropriate song request.

This is also a time when school wide reminders can be shared.
