Hey there! 

My name is Jahnina Smith. I am a gradudaute of USC Aiken where I earned my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. This is my 4th year teaching. I have 3 years of experience teaching 4th grade and this is my first year teaching 2nd grade. I am from a small town in the lowcountry known as Georgetown. I came to Aiken for college and completely fell in love with the community and atmosphere here. 

In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, family and my dog, working out, staying active, painting, doing hair and being by water. When I am not teaching you can most likely find me at the gym! 

I am super excited to take on this new venture of second grade! I am ready to learn more and grow as an educator with my students as they grow as learners! I look forward to a fun and awesome year in 2nd Grade at East Aiken School of the Arts!
