I am Mrs. Tara Gardner, and I will be your child’s teacher this year.  I LOVE teaching at East Aiken School of the Arts!  I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, and my certification in Early Childhood Education from Hampton University in Hampton, VA. I am a native of Gloucester, Virginia, and moved to South Carolina in 2001.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, Kelvin, and our two children, Trevor and Kameron. I also like to read, watch television, travel, and attend and work in my church.

My goals for my students are to develop a love for learning and to master the South Carolina College and Career Ready standards.
