Mrs. Megan Granquist
Hello! I'm Mrs. Granquist, music educator at Greendale Elementary. This will be my 9th year of teaching, and my first year in Aiken County.
For the past 8 years, I have been an elementary music educator in Bluffton, SC. During my time in Bluffton, I coordinated our county's Elementary Honor Choir, wrote curriculum for the district, and designed professional development for BCSD music educators. Before that, I moved from Tennessee after graduating from Middle Tennessee State University with my Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education. My primary instrument is flute/piccolo, and while elementary music is my primary passion, I have spent years working with many middle and high school bands across South Carolina and Tennessee.
In my time outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two cats, and crocheting. I am looking forward to a school year filled with new faces, new memories, and lots of music!
