Hello! I am Mrs. Brinson and I am excited to be your second grade teacher this year. This is my fifth year teaching at Greendale Elementary and I am super thrilled to be part of such a wonderful community of teachers, parents and students.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from USC Aiken along with a Masters' Degree in Education from Lesley University. I am married to my husband, Jim, and we have three beautiful adult children; Holt, Zane and Hallie.  My youngest, Hallie, is a senior at Limestone University majoring in Social Work. My sons have battled a progressive muscle disease, Muscular Dystrophy, all of their lives and have taught us all how to persevere against all odds. They are both amazing young men. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to visit my sons, who now live in Pennsylvania at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Center.  I love family time with my sons, daughter, husband and little poodle named Cedric!   I also enjoy summers at the beach and at the lake. I love teaching second grade and every year is a new adventure! I love meeting my new family of students and getting excited about learning!
