Hi! I am Emily Evenson and I am Oakwood-Windsor Elementary's School Counselor. 

I am originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina and attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, where I earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a Concentration in Youth Issues and a Minor in Health. I then went on to pursue a Masters Degree in Counseling and Development from Winthrop University as well.

This is my third year serving as the School Counselor here at Oakwood-Windsor and my seventh year working as a School Counselor within ACPSD. I look forward to continuing to serve all Wise Owls, grades 4k through 5th. I am overjoyed to be a part of the Oakwood-Windsor Elementary School family. 

As the 2023- 2024 school year comes to an end, this year will be my last as the counselor for Oakwood-Windsor Elementary School. I will be moving back to my hometown to be closer to my family and continue to be a caretaker for my mother. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to serve your children these last three years. This truly is "the best little school in the country."
