Hello, Oakwood-Windsor friends and family! I am the Speech Pathologist here at Oakwood-Windsor Elementary. As the Speech Pathologist, I help students in all grades with a wide variety of communication challenges. For example, if your child says "gog" instead of "dog," I can help! I assist students and their teachers in other ways as well - including developing listening comprehension skills and the basics of self-expression. In speech, we use a lot of different tools and procedures. Depending on the students' age and needs, we may sing, play games, read or drill. We strive to be focussed on our goals while having fun along the way. Oakwood-Windsor is a wonderful school in a special community, and I am so grateful to be here. 

Prior to earning my degree and certification as a Speech Language Pathologist, I worked in the design and software develoment fields. After spending several years serving students in the California public school system, I relocated to South Carolina. This is my sixth year at Oakwood-Windsor.
