Hello!  My name is Kayla Hammonds and I am a fourth grade teacher at Warrenville Elementary School.  This year will be my 8th year of teaching and each year marks another amazing footprint in the most amazing profession in the world.  I have the honor and pleasure of teaching so many wonderful girls and boys.  Just knowing that I will impact my students in some way, shape or form, drives me and makes each day of teaching more passionate then the previous day.  I absolutely love my job!  I am truly blessed to also be the mother of two energetic kiddos, who truly have my heart, Jacob and Lyric Hammonds.  I am thankful to have the support of my husband, James Hammonds who is also very passionate about mentoring and nuturing young minds as well.  I am excited and very eager to begin a new school year, embark on a new journey, learn and grow as a dedicated educator.
