My name is Rebekah Angel and I am starting my 20th year of teaching as a Special Education Teacher. The 2023-2024 school year marks my 10th year working with the amazing staff at Hammond Hill Elementary. This school year, I get the pleasure of working with teachers and students at Warrenville Elementary as well! I could not be more excited to be able to work with the students and staff at both amazing school! You can catch me at HHE the first half of the day and at WES the 2nd half of the day!

My role as a specialized educator is one that focuses on helping children with physical and/or educational learning difficulties to develop their skills. I am looking forward to a year full of learning, creativity, exploring and FUN!

I received my certification in Special Education from East Carolina University in 2005 and recently received my Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Southern Wesleyan University. I have a passion for working with students with disabilities and helping them achieve their personal best. 

I spent the majority of my life in Augusta, Georgia, where most of my family lived. I moved to Greenville, North Carolina in 2003 and started teaching there in 2004. After making the decision to come "home" in August of 2014, my family settled in North Augusta, where we have made this wonderful town our home.

I couldn't be more excited about another year with Aiken County Schools!
