I am honored to lead a school with such persevering students, a dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support the students and families. I am truly excited to serve in my hometown.

I have been dedicated to the field of education for over twenty years. Prior to becoming the principal, I taught grades 1st, 3rd, and 4th at both Belvedere and Mossy Creek. I worked with all students in grades 5K – 5 at Mossy Creek, as the Math Interventionist. In 2017, I became the Math Content Interventionist at the District Level. From 2018 – 2023, I served as the Assistant Principal at Clearwater Elementary School. I am thrilled to utilize my skills as an educational leader at Hammond Hill Elementary School and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success both academically and socially.

In addition to being an educator I am first and foremost a wife and mom. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we are both graduates of North Augusta High School. Our daughter is a Senior at NAHS and our son is in 8th grade at NAMS.  You may see us at the baseball, softball, or football fields. 

I view education as a life-long process and I am excited to learn every year from our students, teachers, and parents at HHE. Most importantly, I believe that students are at the center of all school-related decisions. Because the relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, I encourage you to become involved in every way possible. 

I am excited about the 2023-2024 school year! Hammond Hill Elementary offers an incredible learning experience with great teachers, students, parents, and a supportive community! I look forward to continuing this experience with all of you.

My educational experience began here in Aiken County Public Schools. After graduating from Aiken High School, I attended the University of South Carolina – Columbia. I spent my first 11 years in education at Redcliffe Elementary School in Jackson, SC working with a diverse student population. During my time at Redcliffe, I enrolled at Augusta University and completed a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership. In 2019, I completed the ACPSD Leadership Academy offered by our district leadership team. I’ve previously served as an administrator at North Augusta Middle School.

I live here in North Augusta with my wife, two children, and our two dogs – Sophie and Lady Carolina.
