Hi! My name is Rhett Sherman.  I am a North Augusta native.   I graduated from the University of South Carolina - Aiken with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's of Education from Southern Wesleyan.  This is my 19th year teaching at Hammond Hill Elementary.  My first 16 years at Hammond Hill were spent teaching first grade.  For the past two years, I served Hammond Hill as the K-2 Reading Interventionist.  This year, I am so excited to be stepping into a my new role as the Literacy Coach at Hammond Hill.  I was also honored to represent my amazing profession as the 2022-2023 Aiken County Teacher of the Year!  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at rsherman@acpsd.net, or call the school at 803-442-6170, or send me a message through the Bloomz app.
