Miss Martha Ramirez

My name is Miss Ramirez! I was born in Augusta, Georgia, but grew up in North Augusta, South Carolina. I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina Aiken with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. Aside from being a teacher, I love spending time with my family and working out! This will be my 2nd year of teaching at Hammond Hill as the Multi-lingual Learner Program Specialist. I provide supplemental English language development through direct instruction for students at English proficiency levels 1-5. I am so thrilled to meet you & work with you and your child throughout the year! Mi nombre es Miss Ramirez! Naci en Augusta, Georgia pero crecí en North Augusta, South Carolina. Recientemente me gradué de la Universidad de Carolina del Sur Aiken con una Licenciatura en Educación de la Primaria Infantil. Además de ser maestra, me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia y hacer ejercicio. Este sera mi segundo año como maestra en la escuela primaria de Hammond Hill como la Especialista del Programa de Estudiantes Multilingüages. Yo les brindo desarrollo complementario del idioma inglés a través de instrucción directa para estudiantes en los niveles de dominio del inglés 1-5. ¡Estoy tan emocionada de conocerlos y trabajar con usted y sus hijos durante todo el año!   • What are the classroom expectations?

    Students are expected to follow all classroom expectations just as they would in their regular education classroom. Students are expected to be honest, kind, hard-working, and safe. Students are to walk quietly to and from their classrooms when they are with me.

    I actually get to work with all grades, Kindergarten through 5th grade!!

  • When do I see students?

    Since I work with all grade levels, I manage to see students for about thirty minutes every day using the pull out or push in classroom method.

  • What is ACCESS?

    ACCESS is the test we take once a year (around the spring time) to see our Multilingual students growth in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
