Ms. Truie Gibson, M.Ed., CCC-SLP

 Dear Speech Students and Families,

Welcome to speech-language therapy!!  My name is Truie Gibson, and I am the speech-language pathologist at Hammond Hill Elementary. I am from Statesboro, GA, but have lived in the Aiken County area since 2005.  I have been a speech-language pathologist for over 15 years. Spending time with family and friends, cooking/baking, and gardening are a few hobbies.   During speech sessions, students participate in a variety of activities using technology, crafts, manipulatives and books.  It gives me joy to see students improve their speech/language skills.  Below are links for monthly calendars to help practice speech/language skills in a  fun way at home,  and ideas from ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) for parents and students.   If you have any questions and/or concerns, please let me know. I look forward to working with you and your child this year.
