My passion is helping students to succeed. This is my twenty-seventh year of teaching. This is my sixth year as a full-time elementary school teacher. My previous years of teaching have been in middle school. As a former middle school teacher, I value the importance of early literacy and the foundation of strong math skills. Students must also learn acceptable ways to cope with the stresses of getting along with others and meeting academic expectations. I like to help students gain confidence in progressing through the curriculum and maintaining self-control as obstacles arise.
