Meet Dr. Patricia Saxon

Greetings.  I enjoy working with students by helping them to develop their literacy, speaking, presentation, critical thinking, and viewing skills.  I am a seasoned veteran teacher who has a wealth of knowledge at multiple levels of education.  My professional and academic background includes the following: middle and high school language arts teacher, Title I reading teacher, Regional Education Services Agency (RESA) Education Consultant, collegiate-level instructor, and administration supervision experience. 

In addition to sharing my knowledge with students, I believe in the power of continuous learning through professional development.  My educational background includes the following:  Reading Endorsement, Gifted and Talented Endorsement, Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) from Augusta College, Master's of Education Degree (M.Ed) from Augusta State University, Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S) from Lincoln Memorial University, and Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) from Georgia Southern University. 

I look forward to working with the students, parents, faculty, and staff of New Ellenton Middle STEAM Magnet School.  I am passionate about working with students and helping them to develop and reach their full potential.  Every day is a journey to learn and make new discoveries through literacy.
