We would like to introduce our new assistant principal, Ms. Cohen, who will also become Mrs. Boyd over the weekend. She first joined NAES in 2017 as a kindergarten teacher. The following year she became our literacy coach and has served in that role for four years.
Ms. Cohen holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, a literacy specialist master’s degree, and a master’s degree in educational leadership. She has already taken the lead with our Dolphin Dash running club, Title I activities, parent workshops, and literacy related activities such as our One School, One Book program and our summer reading challenge.
Ms. Cohen is looking forward to building stronger relationships with the students, families, and staff, and she is ready to do her best for NAES!
