    Classroom Consequences

    • If you break it, you fix it. This could entail fixing hurt feelings, cleaning up a mess, or fixing damaged property. Whether it is a major or minor break, you fix it.
    • If you do not follow the rules or you do not handle materials properly, you lose the privilege. For example, if you are not careful with the laptops, you lose the privilege of using the laptops. If you will not use the slide safely at recess, you lose the privilege of using the slide.  Students must practice proper behavior before earning privileges back.
    • Take a break. If you are not in control of your body, your voice, or your thoughts, you will need to take a break. You may choose a calming strategy and rejoin the group when you are in control of yourself again.
